MLK Day

It wasn't until a little over a year ago that I read Martin Luther King, Jr's "I Have A Dream" speech. What struck me the most when I did read through is that I always had the vision that MLK, Jr. merely stood for the rights of black people. While that's true and of course was the impetus for his being in Washington, DC that day, his words actually transcend black/white and call for the acceptance of all types of people. I'm sure I understood that in the back of my head but to read it made it that much more powerful. If you've never read the speech, go to the link below and take five minutes to do so. MLK, Jr. truly embodies what an American should stand for.
